Matawan raises awareness with Ball For Life fundraiser
Darell Roger's Jr. had a breakout season for Matawan basketball in 2018. Nearing the end of the school year he suffered an unexpected heart attack that went unnoticed at the time of his sports physical. With the help of Immediate Care of Hazlet, Darell's team, friends and family came together to help promote safer screenings for athletes and also raise money for his medical expenses.
