Jim Portela’s team knows that expectations are always high – the Shore’s top team in 2013 looks for a state title to go with local dominance.
Rich’s Take
Going to an early workout weeks before training camp, watching RBC was like being at a college football practice. Great teams make the most of every single minute afforded to them in preparation and the Caseys were awfully impressive in what amounted to be routine work. While I didn’t see RBC in person last year, all you have to do is look at the results to see how dominant they were. It’s great that the Caseys have scheduled a tough regular season non-league game against St. Joseph’s Metuchen in week three. A 9-1 team coming to Red Bank is a great measuring stick game for the Caseys. While there will be plenty of highlights of Eddie Hahn and Jamie Gordinier, I’ll do my best to brag on the offensive line that boasts two college prospects in Liam Smith and Ryan Kroeger.
