CBA 1 Southern Regional 0 | Shore Conference Final
Dylan Iwanyk and Jack Dufficy combined on a three-hit shutout and the Colts scored in the top of the third on a wild pitch for the only run of the game to claim CBA’s 8th Shore Conference title. Iwanyk pitched into the sixth inning when Dufficy came in and got out of a bases loaded jam with a strikeout. He went on to get three more outs in the seventh to clinch it. It’s CBA’s first Shore title since 2016 when the Colts won the County, Shore and state titles to finish as New Jersey’s #1 ranked high school baseball team.

Morris Knolls 8 Tenafly 0 | North 1 Group 3 First Round
James Kahn arguably pitched the game of his life as he sends the Golden Eagles to the next round. Kahn pitched a complete game one-hitter with 13 strikeouts in a lopsided win for top-seeded Morris Knolls (23-4). Kahn was masterful in this game and he took his no-hit bid into the final out of the seventh inning before Asher Zorn hit a single to break it up. Morris Knolls’ offense was rolling early – Michael Simone and Brodie Freker each had two RBI in the win. They’ll face the winner of Old Tappan-Bergenfield in the quarterfinal round set for May 29.
