The Falcons rattled off five unanswered goals in the second half to get past the Minutemen and reach the sectional quarterfinals. Jordan Lacerte tallied a pair of goals and six assists to power a red-hot attack from ninth-seeded Monroe (8-9). Jack Rowan scored a game-high three goals in the victory for the Falcons. Trey Egan and Colin Vannais scored twice in the loss for eighth-seeded Washington Township (10-8). The Falcons will face the winner of Eastern and Marlboro next week.
