Roselle Catholic 68 Don Bosco Prep 60 | Boys

Simeon Wilcher scored 11 straight points in the span of 2:16 late in the fourth quarter to spark Roselle Catholic to a win in one of the highest-profile regular season games of the year.  Trailing 58-55 with 2:46 to go, Wilcher made back-to-back baskets followed by a three-pointer that put the Lions ahead for good.  His spectacular run came one day after he was not selected for the McDonald’s All-American game which will feature teammate Mackenzie Mgbako and the Camden pair of DJ Wagner and Aaron Bradshaw.  The North Carolina commit finished the game with 20 points with Akil Watson scoring 19 and Mgbako adding 10 points and 17 rebounds.  Dylan Harper once again played tremendously in an elite matchup with 27 points in a losing effort.

The physical match up was 27-27 at halftime and saw several lead changes in the third quarter as St. Thomas Aquinas led 42-41 entering the fourth.
