Egg Harbor Twp. 11 Paul VI 1 (5 Innings)

EHT flexed its muscle to stay unbeaten. Sofia Spatocco had a home run, a double and four RBIs in the victory, while Sienna Walterson also hit a HR for Egg Harbor Twp. (6-0). Gianna Maiore drove in the lone run of the day for PVI (7-3).

Marlboro 15 Howell 8

The Mustangs pounded out a season-high 18 hits to earn a spot in the Monmouth County Tournament’s Blue Division championship game.  Marlboro is set to face Raritan on April 29th thanks to an outstanding offensive performance.  The Mustangs put together a 5-run 3rd and followed that up with two more to take a 10-4 lead.  Howell cut the lead to 10-8 in the top of the sixth but Marlboro would put the game away with five more runs in the bottom of the sixth highlighted by Aimee Notaro’s grand slam.  Notaro had two hits and 5 RBI’s and Isabella Pitarressi was 4-4 with 3 runs and 3 RBI’s.
