Delbarton 8 Mountain Lakes 4 | Boys

The Green Wave served as streak-snappers on Tuesday, ending a pair of impressive runs for the reigning TOC champions. A stellar defensive performance and timely scoring lifted Delbarton (5-2) to their first win over Mountain Lakes (4-1) since back in May 2019. Mountain Lakes’ 19-game win streak, which dated back to last season, also came to an end in the loss. Villanova commit Jake Melchionni was masterful on defense while Gray Doyle and TJ Coffey each scored a pair of goals as Delbarton reaffirmed their position as the No. 1 ranked team in the state.
