The state playoffs are officially underway and we’ve got highlights from a pair of first round games in the Public B tournament. Stay tuned for highlights as they roll in!
Randolph 8 Princeton 5 | Public B First Round
A wild, back-and-forth game two by teams unwilling to give in headlined this 8-9 matchup in the state tournament. A hat trick from Zach Gallo led the way for Randolph (10-6-3) in a see-saw battle. The Rams lead 5-0 early in the second period and then squandered the lead away after Princeton (16-5-3) scored five unanswered goals of their own to tie it. A hat trick from Cooper Zullo kept the Little Tigers in this game.

Middletown North 6 Wall 3 | Public B First Round
Anthony DiLorenzo broke a 3-3 tie with 6:03 to go in the third period and Colin Delanzo scored two more goals to reach 23 on the season as the Lions advance to the quarterfinals to face the winner of 3rd seed Summit and #14 West Morris.
