Overbrook 59 Clearview 51 | Boys | Tri-County Conference Tournament Final

After falling to Wildwood in the inaugural TCC Tournament final last season, the Rams finished the job against Clearview this time around. Devon Johnson (15 points) and Jaylan Hornsby (14 points) led a balanced attack for Overbrook (19-4). Carter Bobbitt scored a game-high 22 points for View (17-7) in the loss.

Timber Creek 49 Clearview 38 | Girls | Tri-County Conference Tournament Final

The TCC tournament championship will stay with the Chargers for a second-straight season after defeating the Pioneers in the rubber match between these teams this season. Amaya Burch led the way with a game-high 19 points in the victory. Creek (17-5) got some timely shooting from freshman Nal’La Bennett in the second half, who finished with eleven points. Emma Steidle finished with a team-high 13 points in the loss for Clearview (16-7).

Trenton 60 Notre Dame 51 | Boys | Mercer County Tournament Semifinal

(6) Trenton (16-5) defeated (10) Notre Dame (12-10) 61-50 to advance to the Mercer County Tournament Championship. Notre Dame led 14-12 after the first quarter, Trenton getting a lift from Rutgers football commit Sam Gadie went ahead 28-25 at halftime and maintained control throughout the third quarter. Notre Dame crept within two points in the final four minutes of regulation, but the Tornadoes ability to score quickly was too much for ND down the stretch. Calvin Moore and Sam Gadie each finished with 10 points, Davontay Hutson had 14 and Antwan Bridgett ended the night with 18 points. Trenton advances to take on top seed Trenton Catholic in the MCT Final on Thursday, 2/24. JSZ’s Nery Rodriguez has the highlights:
