Sterling 2 St. Augustine 1 | SJ Coaches Tournament Quarterfinal
In a game that started Monday night and resumed on Tuesday, the fifth-seeded Silver Knights got a goal from Mike Burckley in the 76th minute to advance to the South Jersey Coaches Tournament semifinals. Jimmy Zingaro scored a goal in the first half off an assist from Josh Moreland for Sterling (16-1-1) before Aidan Davis tied it for the fifth-seeded Hermits (13-4-1) with a goal from the penalty spot in the 71st minute. Sterling will face top-seeded Cinnaminson in the semifinals on Wednesday night in Cherry Hill.

Senior Tiarnan King’s first varsity goal in the 69th minute was a memorable one as his blast from 25 yards out off the post gives the Colts a spot in the Shore Conference championship game. Matteo Paolillo was outstanding in goal for the Braves making some high quality stops before King broke through late in the second half. CBA will face Toms River North in the title game on Thursday. Toms River North 4 Freehold Township 1 | Shore Conference Tournament Semifinal
Mariners’ forward AJ Emnace scored goals in the first and second halves Tuesday to propel Toms River North (12-1-1) to the Shore Conference Tournament final. Jarden Brown and Ray Keller also contributed goals in an overpowering offensive performance against Freehold Township (13-3-1). The Mariners are set to face Christian Brothers Academy in the SCT Final on Thursday.
