First half goals from Alexia Garcia and Jaime Girtain were all the offense the Mariners needed to advance to the Shore Conference Tournament final. No. 2 seed Toms River North (16-0-1) also got a great effort in net from keeper Kyran Thievon, who made four saves, against No. 6 seed Red Bank Catholic (11-4-1).

Cassidy Corcione scored the game-tying goal in the 66th minute and assisted on Kayla Wong’s game-winner just :56 later to give the #1 team in New Jersey a spot in the Shore Conference Tournament championship. Sydney Spilsbury gave Manalapan a 1-0 lead in the 36th minute. The Braves, who lost to Freehold Township 5-0 on the opening day of the season, were 15 minutes away from the upset until the electric minute by the Patriots.
