Only a few teams remain as the sectional finals and state semifinals are on the horizon for lacrosse in the Garden State!


Allentown 10 Manasquan 5 | Girls | South Group 2 Semifinal

(2) Allentown advances to the South Jersey, Group 2 final with a 10-5 win over (3) Manasquan. The Redbirds led 4-2 at halftime following a pair of goals from freshman Marleigh White. White finished the afternoon with four scores as Allentown had a six-goal lead in the closing two minutes of play. Sophomore Delaney Nolan had three goals. The Redbirds will look to capture their first South Jersey, Group 2 title since 2018.

Pingry 17 Camden Catholic 0 | Girls | Non-Public A Quarterfinal

Under Armour All-American Bella Goodwin scored her 100th goal of the season, and then a few more, as the Big Blue routed the Irish en route to another state playoff win. Second-seeded Pinrgry (20-3) raced out a 14-0 lead at the half thanks to six goals from Goodwin and three more from Annabelle Mahoney. Camden Catholic (12-7) was held scoreless in their final game of the season. Pingry will host the winner of Kent Place-Notre Dame in the semifinals next Tuesday.

Holy Spirit 22 Academy of St. Elizabeth 6 | Girls | Non-Public B Quarterfinal

The top-seeded Spartans raced out to a 7-0 lead and never looked back against the ninth-seeded Panthers. Freshman Lauren Cella scored the first two goals of the game to set the tone for Spirit (13-4). Brielle Soltys and Hanna Watson also scored multiple goals in the first half as the Spartans led 15-4 at halftime. Grace Gehm scored two goals for AOSE (8-11) in the loss. Holy Spirit will face either Saddle River Day or Bishop Eustace in the state semifinals on Tuesday.
