Middletown South 19 Middletown North 18 | Shore Conference Flag Football Playoffs

Amanda Paterno’s TD pass to Amanda MacGregor with 1:02 left tied the game and the same pair connected on the extra point pass to give the Eagles a come-from-behind win over their archrival avenging a 26-15 loss in the regular season.  Middletown North took an 18-10 lead in the second half on Valentina Fanetti’s second TD pass followed by a Jade Goworek interception.  The Eagles stormed back sparked by Cameryn Czwakiel’s interception to make it an 18-12 game setting the stage for the Eagles game winning drive.  Middletown South advances to Tuesday’s Shore Conference championship game.
