Wildwood Catholic Academy 36 Absegami 31 | Girls | Cape-Atlantic League Tournament Semifinal

Carly Murphy scored a game-high 16 points, as the Crusaders earned a hard-fought victory over the Braves to reach the CAL title game. Freshman Reese Downey scored a team-high 13 points for seventh-seeded Absegami (14-9) in the loss. Third-seeded Wildwood Catholic will face top-seeded Mainland in the final on Saturday.

Mainland 52 Atlantic City 37 | Girls | Cape-Atlantic League Tournament Semifinal

The Mustangs stay undefeated in conference play, defeating the Vikings for the third time this season to reach the CAL title game. Ava Mazur caught fire for the top-seeded Mustangs, knocking down five 3’s on her way to a game-high 22 points in the win. Quanirah Cherry-Montague finished with a team-high 13 points in the loss for Atlantic City (12-10). Mainland (22-2) plays third-seed Wildwood Catholic for the CAL championship on Saturday at Absegami.

St. Peter’s Prep 59 North Bergen 45 | Boys | Hudson County Tournament Semifinal

An impressive defensive performance in the final quarter would help the Marauders secure a spot in the 2022 Hudson County Tournament final. Mark Armstrong scored a game-high 20 points and his defensive prowess was the difference as St. Peter’s Prep (21-3) locked down North Bergen (10-12) in the semifinals. Armstrong, a Villanova commit, is now only five points away from breaking the school’s all-time scoring record.
