St. John Vianney 95 Chartiers Valley (PA) 66 | Girls Basketball
The Lancers welcomed in some of the best out of state competition and proved their dominance in the first weekend of games. Madison St. Rose lead the way for the Lancers with 33 points and Zoe Brooks seems to be fitting in her new school just fine as she added 21 for Vianney. They certainly look to be the favorite to win the girls championship in New Jersey once again.

Egg Harbor Twp. 87 Wildwood Catholic | Boys | Ocean City PBA Tipoff Weekend
The Eagles capped off an impressive opening weekend with a dominant victory over Cape-Atlantic League power Wildwood Catholic. Carlos Lopez dropped a game-high 31 points with seven rebounds and five steals to lead the way for Egg Harbor Twp. (2-0). D.J. Germann added 24 points and five steals in the win. Rashee Bell scored a team-high 20 points in the loss for Wildwood Catholic (1-1).
