Salem 13 Paulsboro 12 | Group 1 Central Final

The Rams held on to beat the Red Raiders for their first sectional championship since 1983. Nate Robbins kicked the go-ahead field goal with four minutes remaining, before Paulsboro missed a field goal with eight seconds left. Jessiah Gildersleeve led Salem (10-1) on both sides of the ball, as the senior rushed for a touchdown and had an interception. Keyshun Sanders caught a pair of TD passes for the Red Raiders (9-2) in the loss. Salem advances to face Group 1 South champion Woodbury in a regional title game.

East Orange 35 Passaic Tech 7 | Group 5, North Jersey, Section 1 Final

East Orange (11-0) defeated Passaic Tech (8-4) 35-7 for the North 1, Group 5 Championship. Running back Damon Phillips with two first half touchdowns put East Orange ahead 21-0 at halftime. Phillips would score again late in the fourth quarter and finished with 205 rushing yards and three touchdowns. Quarterback Raeden Oliver threw for 126 yards and a touchdown, Oliver also rushed for another score. It’s the Jaguars second Sectional Title since the program’s first championship back in 2007. Cedar Creek 30 Delsea 13 | Group 3 South Final

The Pirates prevailed in a battle between undefeated teams to capture the third sectional title in program history. Cincinnati-commit JoJo Bermudez scored a pair of touchdowns, including a 75-yard catch-and-run to ice the game in the fourth quarter for Cedar Creek (12-0). JC Landicini had the Pirates’ aerial attack in gear, throwing for five touchdowns in the win. Jared Schoppe ran for a touchdown in the loss for Delsea (11-1). Cedar Creek will take on Group 3 Central champion Woodrow Wilson in a regional title game.
