Week 5 wraps up with a handful of great games around the state!


Westfield 14 St. Joseph (Metuchen) 10

Westfield (4-1) picked up their fourth straight win following a 14-10 comeback victory over St. Joseph (Metuchen) (4-1). Trailing 10-0 entering the fourth quarter, quarterback Trey Brown scored and tossed a late touchdown to Alex Tilyou to give the Blue Devils a late lead with under five minutes remaining in regulation. Brown finished with 184 total yards of offense to accompany his two touchdowns.

Woodstown 7 Salem 6

The Wolverines edged the rival Rams in a battle between South Jersey Group 1 title contenders. James Hill rushed for 141 yards in the win, while Max Webb threw a TD pass to David Harvey for Woodstown (5-0). Jahki Coates rushed for a touchdown for Salem (4-2) in the loss.

Camden 29 Haddon Heights 8

Taquan Brittingham’s 70-yard pick-six late in the fourth quarter sealed up The High’s fourth-straight win as the Panthers remain unbeaten against NJ competition. Deante Ruffin threw for a touchdown and ran for another in the win for Camden (4-1). Malachi Terrell hauled in a highlight-reel touchdown in the loss for Haddon Heights (3-2).
