Ocean Township 42 Lakewood 37 (OT) – Central Jersey Group 3 Boys
Andrew Seager had 15 points and 17 rebounds as the Spartans outscored the Piners 5-0 in overtime to advance to round two of Central Jersey Group 3. Lakewood had two chances to win in regulation and Ocean missed a go-ahead free throw. In OT, the Spartans got a free throw, a Brian Lauststen offensive rebound and layup and a Seager dunk to advance. The #11 seed raced out to a 14-0 first quarter lead and had ten different players score in a road win at #6 Hammonton. SNJ Today’s Mike Frankel has the highlights from South Jersey:

Meghan Murray scored 17 points to lead three Bucs in double digits as RBR is through to the second round of the state playoffs for a second straight year.
