There were only four contested bouts, but the Thunderbolts knocked off the archrival Fighting Clan to open the season. Jaydan Wright and Adrian Baez both pinned for Millville. Joe Nappa and Josh Kichen each won by fall for Vineland.

Howell 47 St. John Vianney 27
Despite graduating two state placers, the Rebels prove to still be a force in the Shore. Howell put together three pins from James McGhee, Hunter Mays and DJ Henry along with a technical fall by Paul Jakub to outlast the Lancers. Michael Foley, Blake Clayton and Joseph Butler earned pins for Vianney in the loss.
