St. Thomas Aquinas 52 Seton Hall Prep 44 | Boys | Husky Holiday Classic

St. Thomas Aquinas defeated Seton Hall Prep 52-44 in a clash of 6-0 teams to win the 15th Husky Holiday Classic. A tightly contested first half saw Prep lead 20-17 after two quarters of play. The back and forth battle continued well into the third as the Pirates entered the fourth quarter leading St. Thomas Aquinas 32-30. However, the Trojans outscored Seton Hall Prep 22-12 in the fourth, Kamal Lee had eight of those point to finish with 13 total and MVP honors.

St. Rose 47 Red Bank Regional 26 | Boys | Buc Classic Final

Brothers Matt and Jayden Hodge combined to score 37 points as the Purple Roses captured their first piece of hardware this season. Jayden scored a game-high 19 points and Matt finished with 18 points and 13 rebounds in the win. Matt, the eldest of the brothers, ultimately won tournament MVP honors for three great performances for St. Rose (6-0) during the Buc Classic. Red Bank Regional (4-2) made it to the final of their home tournament after knocking off perennial Shore power CBA in the semifinals.

Manasquan 84 Toms River East 28 | Boys | WOBM Ruhnke Bracket Final

Darius Adams brought down the house with the first dunk of his high school career to highlight a 21 points, 9 rebound, 5 assist effort as the Warriors dominated the #7 seed in the last game of the WOBM Christmas Classic. Ryan Frauenheim and Alex Konov added 13 points apiece for Manasquan.

Jackson Memorial 60 Freehold Township 49 | Boys | WOBM Gepp Bracket Final

Samir Padilla scored 11 of his 24 points in the third quarter and his run of five straight points in the fourth quarter helped the Jaguars pull away to win the Gepp bracket of the WOBM Christmas Classic.  Keith Adame added 19 for the Jags who are off to a 6-1 start to the early season.  Jermaine Holmes-Cottor was sensational for Freehold Township with a 19-point, 20-rebound effort in a losing cause.

Red Bank Catholic 59 Manasquan 42 | Girls | WOBM Cervino Bracket Final

Eight players scored at least five points for RBC, as the Caseys cruised against the Warriors to win one of two WOBM Christmas Classic championships. Freshman Addy Nyemchek scored a team-high 11 points for RBC (7-0), while Christina Liggio was named bracket MVP. Rylyn Orlando scored a game-high 16 points for Manasquan (4-2) in the loss.

Ewing 66 Rumson-Fair Haven 64 | Girls | WOBM Snyder Bracket Final

The Blue Devils led by double-digits for much of the night, but needed to hang on late to take down the Bulldogs for the Kathy Snyder Bracket championship. Rhian Stokes scored a team-high 24 points, and provided a clutch block late in the contest to preserve the victory. Stokes also earned tournament MVP honors after a sensational week at the WOBM Christmas Classic. Joi Johnson chipped in with 22 points in the win for Ewing (7-0). Julia Corsentino poured in a game-high 27 points in the loss for RFH (4-3).
