Nunes Bukula had two fourth-quarter runs to put the exclamation point on a Griffins road win and to claim their stake as the number one team in the Shore Conference. The Griffins took advantage of special teams miscues to take a 14-0 halftime lead. Donovan Catholic had three forfeits due to an ineligible player and are technically 5-4 on the season but have won 8 of 9 games in the regular season heading into the Non-Public “A” playoffs. Irvington 21 West Orange 7

Irvington (7-2) defeated West Orange (6-3) 21-7 to end the regular season on a three game win streak. University of Maryland commit Nasir Addison scored on Irvington’s opening drive with a 47 yard touchdown catch and an interception returned for a touchdown from Raheem Wright made it a 14-0 lead at halftime. The win likely gives Irvington top seed and home field advantage in the North 2, Group 4 playoff bracket. JSZ’s Nery Rodriguez has the highlights:
