Notre Dame 5 Hopewell Valley 2
With the hockey season coming to a close in the upcoming weeks the tight race for supremacy for the Colonial Valley Conference could be determined by one loss. Notre Dame who has played a tough schedule this season out of conference play has also had given the CVC some memorable games. While there was no last minute heroics there was some great scoring goal action in Tuesday’s matchup with Hopewell Valley that was worth the price of admission. The Irish scored three goals in the first period to give them an 3-1, Hopewell would counter late in the second to bring them within one, but Notre Dame was able to answer back with two more goals including a mile long shot from TJ Turkvan-Sinchak to lead them to a 5-2 vitocry over their conference rival. Middletown South 8 Jackson Memorial 4
The Eagles scored six goals in the first period and eight different Middletown South players scored in a big win against the Jaguars at Middletown Ice World. Mike Racioppi had a goal and four assists to lead the attack. Middletown South improves to 12-4-1 on the season. JSZ has the highlights of a big win for the Eagles on the ice:
