Ryan Dickens commits to Lafayette

Raritan linebacker Ryan Dickens didn’t expect to steal national headlines in the heat of recruiting season.  A commit to the University of Connecticut in the summer, Dickens had his scholarship pulled by new UConn football coach Randy Edsall two weeks ago despite being assured a scholarship on New Year’s Day according to Dickens mother.  As the situation was discussed on ESPN and articles were written all across the country, Dickens began to garner offers from FCS schools and has chosen to play in Pennsylvania for Lafayette:

Mike Husni Commits to Marist

Toms River North quarterback and 2016 SSZ Zoneman Trophy winner Mike Husni is on his way to Poughkeepsie, NY to play Division I FCS football.  Husni announced over the weekend that he is set to sing on Wednesday with the Marist Red Foxes:

More Weekend Commitments

Rumson-Fair Haven wide receiver Tyler Pierson committed to Hobart and William Smith College.  His teammate, quarterback Michael O’Connor, is now set to sign with Bryant in Rhode Island after originally committing to Colgate.  Brick Township captain John Prato is on his way to Kutztown in Pennsylvania and will sign on Wednesday alongside teammate Ja’Sir Taylor who will ink with Wake Forest.

SSZ’s Signing Day 2017 Coverage
