Ridgewood 9 Chatham 7

Both the Maroons and Cougars hold impressive seeds in their respective groups for the state playoffs and the two public school powerhouses clashed Tuesday afternoon for one final regular season tuneup before the tournament begins. Ridgewood (14-3) overcame a 3-0 deficit in the second quarter to surge past Chatham (12-6) for an impressive win. Jack Frers paced the Ridgewood offense with two goals and an assist in the win while JP Lagunowich had a pair of goals for Chatham in the loss. The Maroons and Cougars now turn their focus to the NJSIAA playoffs later this week.
