Ranney 1B/OF Ryan Costello saw his stock skyrocket after a big summer on the travel baseball circuit. As a result, Costello switched his college baseball commitment from the University of Pittsburgh to defending NCAA baseball champion LSU. Costello hit .409 in his junior season with Ranney four homers and 18 RBI’s. JSZ was there when he went 3-4 with 2 RBI’s including the walk-off RBI single in the 7th to give Ranney a 6-5 win and a Monmouth County title over Red Bank Catholic.
