Jake Puskar scored a goal in all three periods capped off by a dazzling between the legs goal to give the Hilltoppers a second straight Union County title. Puskar scored in the opening minute of the second period off a feed from Greg Spitznagel to give Summit a 2-0 lead. Dan McDonald got Westfield on the board with a power-play goal a couple of minutes later to make it 2-1. Hilltoppers goalie Nikita Pryymak would not surrender any more goals thanks to his 20 saves.
