Pope John knows all too well wins are hard to come by in the Gordon Conference. The Lions, stuck at only a single win so far this season, broke through for a handful of goals Sunday afternoon, topping Bridgewater-Raritan 5-1 in the Protec Ponds Holiday Tournament. Alex Blaszak led the way with two goals in a four-goal, second period outburst.
