Point Pleasant Boro 5 Toms River East 1 | Ocean County Tournament Final
The Panthers came up short in the Ocean County final a year ago, but would not be denied this time around as they brought home the first county title in program history. East Stroudsburg commit and tournament MVP Georgia Tym broke a 1-1 tie in the sixth with an inside-the-park grand slam to give Point Boro the lead for good. Dakota Palmieri picked up the win in the circle and drove in a run for fourth-seeded Point Pleasant Boro (14-2). Peyton Gallagher tied the game with an RBI single in the loss for seventh-seeded Toms River East (11-6).
