The first Round of 16 game in the Shore Conference Tournament saw Point Pleasant Boro take the first spot in the Elite 8.  Watch the highlights of the Panthers 1-0 win over Toms River North!

Kyleigh Cilento scored off a corner kick from Anna McCourt in the opening minute of the second half was the lone goal to give the Panthers a spot in the Shore Conference Tournament quarterfinals.  While Group 2 Point Boro is the number 7 seed, the win had an upset vibe with 10th-seeded Toms River North reaching last year’s SCT final and a Group 4 power.  Point Pleasant Boro is 11-1 with a stellar 10 shutouts.  The Panthers will play the winner of #2 seed RBC against 15th ranked Marlboro in the quarterfinals on Saturday.
