Summit 1 Union 0 (OT) | Boys Union County Tournament Quarterfinal
Daniel Farberov’s golden goal in the 88th minute was the difference as the Hilltoppers defeated the Farmers in an overtime battle. Fourth-seeded Summit (7-6) fought to advance to the semifinals where they will face top-seeded rival Westfield for the third time this season. Union (8-5-1) had four more regular season games left on the schedule to prepare for the upcoming state tournament.

Paige Seitz’s first half goal was the difference, as the Indians punched a ticket to the Shore Conference Tournament quarterfinals. Delaine Wilkinson earned the clean sheet in net for South (7-3-1), which advances to face top-seeded Freehold Township. The Mustangs fell to (7-3-1) with the loss.

Red Bank Catholic 2 Marlboro 0 | Girls SCT 2nd Round
Mya King scored in the 3rd minute and Noel Pauwels added a blast in the 77th minute to give the Caseys (10-2) an 8-game win streak and a spot in the SCT quarterfinals. The #2 seed will host 7th seed Point Pleasant Boro on Saturday with a spot in the final four on the line.
