Olympic-Colonial 3 Tri-Cape 2 – Opening Round
Defending champion Olympic-Colonial opened the Phillies Carpenter Cup Classic with a victory over Tri-Cape in a battle between two South Jersey all-star teams. Washington Township junior Nick Hammer earned the win on the mound, throwing three scoreless innings. Cherry Hill West senior Eli Atiya pitched a scoreless ninth inning to pick up the save.
