Keyport linebacker Logan Blanks suffered a serious neck and spinal injury during the Red Raider’s win against Lakewood on 10/8. The small shore town and communities from across New Jersey have stepped up to help support Blanks and his family in this time of need, learn how you can too.

What should have been a celebration following a 24-6 victory over Lakewood loomed with mixed emotions as the status of Keyport senior linebacker, Logan Blanks remained unclear after he left the game earlier with paramedics.

Blanks suffered a serious neck/spinal injury during the contest and after multiple surgeries at Jersey Shore Medical Center, doctors are optimistic that he is on path to a full successful recovery, according to Head Coach Jason Glezman.

The Red Raiders out to a 4-2 start have leaned on Logan’s tough defensive efforts all season long as the senior has racked up 33 total tackles, two sacks, a safety, in addition to a forced fumble and recovery. Keyport’s Football Alumni Association has started a GoFundMe to help Logan Blanks. Click HERE to show your support.
