Jersey Sports Zone is excited to bring a new level of coverage to high school athletes in New Jersey.  We are excited to announce our inaugural Jersey Sports Zone Football Banquet which is set for December 7 in Woodbridge.  For three years, we showcased the top football players in the Shore Conference with our banquet.  Here’s a sample of what we’ll be doing next month with the best players in the state assembled together:

Please email with your nominations for our All-Zone football team

It has been a great thrill to expand our brand and showcase high school football all across the state of New Jersey. We are contacting you to let you know about the culmination of our high school football coverage, a statewide football banquet honoring the best players in the state.

Our Football Banquet is a high school version of the ESPYs and the Heisman rolled into one. We will select the top players in the state broken down by position

Quarterbacks (10)
Running Backs (10)
Wide Receivers (10)
Tight Ends (5)
Offensive Linemen (10)
Defensive Linemen (10)
Linebackers (10)
Defensive Backs (10)
Kicker/Punter/Return (5)

We are contacting you to ask for any nominations from your team. If you have an All-State or “top 10” worthy player, please let us know. As you can imagine, it will be a tough process and we will use many resources and experts to help select our roster.

Our player of the year is the “Zoneman” Trophy, like the Heisman. In Mid-November we will have a panel of 50 coaches and media select our player of the year. If you are interested in casting a ballot, please let us know. We will provide a list of 20 players for consideration for our Player of the Year
