New coach Luke Sinkhorn takes over the Rebels in 2014

My first impression of the Howell Rebels from the simple eyeball test was great size on the line. Talking to Mike McGuinness and watching him set the tone with a team first mentality is a great sign for 2014. Jarvis Leaks looked great on film especially on the kickoff return which is featured in our preview video. Coach Sinkhorn is going to put his personal stamp on the defensive side of the ball. This should be a fun team to watch and I’m very impressed by the support of the Rebels fan base, in particular the Touchdown Club which I wish every high school could have.
