Campers of all ages got the chance to train like the pros do this past week at the Davis Graham & Malik Ellison Summer Hoops Camp Round Two. Graham, a former Doane Academy standout, runs The Detail Academy and mentors under NBA skills trainer Drew Hanlen. Ellison, a Life Center Academy graduate and the son of former NBA player Pervis Ellison, is coming off a stint with the Philadelphia 76ers summer league team and will suit up for Team USA at the FIBA World Cup qualifiers later this month. The training partners imparted some of the lessons they have learned through their own basketball journeys during a four-day camp aimed at building skills that will directly to game situations.
