The last head coach to win a state championship at powerhouse St. Joe’s Mont. is officially back in charge of the program.

Augie Hoffmann was rehired by the SJR administration this week to lead the Green Knights football team. Hoffmann returns after a four-year stint in the college ranks at Rutgers University and Columbia University.

The SJR grad and former NFL offensive lineman was 49-20 in six seasons with Joes and captured state championships in 2016 and 2018. Hoffmann replaces Dan Marangi as head coach – Marangi has since been named the head football coach at Indian Hills High School.
