Manasquan 57 College Achieve Asbury Park 46 | Boys

The Warriors came out to a scorching hot start and never looked back to hand the Knights their first loss in program history. Manasquan (4-0) got big outings from Griffin Linstra (15 points) and freshman Rey Weinseimer (13 points) in a stifling win. The Warriors opened the game on an 18-3 run and never looked back. College Achieve Asbury Park (2-1), who are led by former Roselle Catholic head coach Dave Boff, got the game within seven points in the fourth quarter, but couldn’t fully claw back in. Jamir Westry led all scorers with a game-high 16 points.

Monroe 68 Spotswood 51 | Boys

Monroe defeated Spotswood 68-51 to improve to 3-1 and hand the Chargers their first loss of the season. After tying the game at 10-10 to end the first quarter, Monroe went ahead 30-22 thanks to eight points from senior Mark Laughery in the second. The lead would extend to as many as 20 in the second half, Laughery finished with 21 points, Myles Marabuto had 18 points for the Falcons.
