WALL – Lee McCarthy tallied two goals and Kyle Hallbauer added one more for insurance in the third period to give the Howell Rebels a 3-1 win over Freehold Township on Saturday night at Jersey Shore Arena in Wall. McCarthy scored in the first and then took a long feed from Jack Kisoski to score on a backhand to make it 2-0. Max Holverson scored the lone goal of the game for the Patriots late in the second period, but Hallbauer delivered a top shelf wrister to close out the scoring.
