Saturday’s matchup between reigning 2019 Group 4 State Champions Williamstown (6-1) and St. John Vianney (5-1) was a tight battle from start to finish as the South Jersey Girls Volleyball powerhouse defeated the Lancers 2-0. The Braves trailed early in the first set, but fought back to win 25-18. The second set would be much different with Williamstown dominating 25-15. McKenzie Melvin had eight kills and eight digs while Julia Schwab had nine kills and five digs.
