There’s no Atlantic City and no team state titles to be crowned in 2021 due to the pandemic. High school wrestling is making the most of a unique season that has just two weeks remaining before regionals. Teams across the state are scheduling outdoor dual matches. Ocean Township scored a 52-24 dual win at Shore Regional on Saturday morning in the first-ever outdoor high school dual meet in Monmouth County. With ideal weather, the Spartans and Blue Devils proved that outdoor wrestling works outside, and athletes and families who had so much taken away during the pandemic have an opportunity to experience something truly unique.
