Seton Hall Prep 2 Montclair Kimberley Academy 1 | Boys

No. 8 Seton Hall Prep boys soccer is 4-0 to start the season as the Pirates defeated No. 10 Montclair Kimberley Academy 2-1 Wednesday afternoon. SHP sophomore Brody Angevine got the scoring started in the 12th minute with a header off a long throw from fellow sophomore Cooper Finn. Just four minutes later, MKA’s Gustavo Rosen scored off a free kick from just outside the box. It would remain scoreless until the 76th minute when junior Giovanni Carnemolla scored a header off a Ciaran Bateson assist for the game-winner and his first varsity goal. Pirates goalkeeper Liam Collins finished the game with four saves while the Cougars’ Joseph Morante had five.

Shawnee 4 Moorestown 0 | Girls

Shawnee (3-0) continued its winning ways over Moorestown (1-1) in a rematch of last season’s South Jersey Group 3 Final, extending its winning streak over the Quakers to nine games. Olivia Allen opened the scoring with her first varsity goal, and Madison Zaun doubled the lead early in the second half with her fourth goal of the season. Freshman Olivia Zemaitatis added another highlight-reel finish before senior Caitlin Olkowski capped the scoring with her first goal of the season. Sophomore goalkeeper Lacey Abrams recorded her second consecutive shutout in the Renegades win.

Paul VI 4 Rancocas Valley 0 | Girls

Virginia commit Kylie Berk netted a pair of goals as the nationally-ranked Eagles soared in their conference opener for its 31st consecutive win dating back to 2024. Cami Koerner scored her fifth goal of the season to get things started for Paul VI (3-0), which is ranked second in the Garden State and tenth in the country as of this week. Rancocas Valley falls to (0-2) and will seek its first win against Robbinsville on Saturday.
