Bridgewater-Raritan 12 Hunterdon Central 7 | Boys

This clash of two Top-20 ranked teams in the state did not disappoint as both squads brought plenty of fireworks. Rutgers commit Colin Kurdyla accounted for a career-high eight points (six goals, two assists) in a statement win for Bridgewater-Raritan (2-0). Alex Delierre also scored four goals in the win. Maryland signee Sean Creter was a menace at FOGO and also scored twice in the loss for Hunterdon Central (0-1).

Monroe 9 Notre Dame 7 | Boys

Reigning GMC Champions Monroe begin the season with a 9-7 victory over Notre Dame. The Falcons trailed 6-4 heading into the fourth quarter when three goals from senior Christian Updale allowed them to not only tie the game, but take the lead in the closing two minutes of play. Updale finished the afternoon with five goals and two assists.
