Camden Catholic 50 Lenape 46 | Boys

Irish senior Lucas Dunn erupted for a game-high 26 points, as Camden Catholic edged the Indians in Olympic Conference action. Temple commit Zach Hicks added ten points in the win for the Irish (5-2). Tayvon Gaither and Derek Simpson each scored 17 points in the loss for Lenape (6-2).

Patrick School 62 St. Thomas Aquinas 51 | Boys

Patrick School (8-1) defeated St. Thomas Aquinas (5-4) 62-51 in an all-out scoring frenzy between two of New Jersey’s top non-public programs. The Celtics, led by UConn commit Samson Johnson, were able to take a 28-19 lead at halftime. Although St. Thomas would cut the deficit to single digits in the fourth quarter, TPS was able to secure the victory. Johnson ended the evening with 17 points and 11 rebounds.

Elizabeth 45 Westfield 39 | Boys

Elizabeth (7-2) was able to hold off Union County rival Westfield (5-4) for a tight 45-39 win. Elizabeth’s Etienne Richelieu went head-to-head with Blue Devils junior Sean Logan in a back-and-forth battle, that would ultimately favor the Minutemen late in the fourth quarter. Richelieu finished with 21 points while Logan had 16 points.

Middletown South 47 Marlboro 37 | Girls

Renee Wells had 16 points and 13 boards and Beth Rankin sank 10 free throws in crunch time to give her 14 as the Eagles stunned previously unbeaten Marlboro (8-1). The Mustangs were coming off a shocker of their own when they beat Saddle River Day 68-64. The Eagles had a 17-13 lead at the half and made 13 total free throws in the final four minutes to score one of the most surprising wins in the Shore Conference.
