Aiden Cavendish was involved in all four Middletown South goals with two goals and two assists to lead the Eagles (5-3-3) to a rivalry win against crosstown rival Middletown North. Nate Block gave the Eagles a 1-0 lead just 11 seconds in before Cavendish scored in the second period to make it a 2-0 advantage. Andrew Gross cut the lead to 2-1 with 6:19 to go in the third, but Michael Volpi put the game away with a great goal followed by Cavendish with an empty netter.
