Trenton Catholic Academy 55 Roselle Catholic 50 | Boys
In possibly the upset of the season so far, Trenton Catholic (2-0) defeated reigning Non-Public B North sectional champion Roselle Catholic (7-1) 55-50. The Lions went up as many as nine on TCA in the third quarter before the Iron Mikes fought back to take the lead midway through the fourth. Trenton Catholic, ahead by three with less than 10 seconds to go, would get help from junior Braxton Jones who delivered two clutch free throws to put the game out of reach. Jones ended the evening with 19 points.

Atlantic City 56 Middle Township 44 | Boys
Ja’heem Frederick paced the Vikings with 15 points, as AC bounced back from its first loss of the season to beat the Panthers. Aamir Mack added 12 points, and Naquan Blakeley chipped in with 11 points in the win for Atlantic City (6-1). Jeremiah Camacho scored 15 points in the loss for Middle (2-4).
