Red Bank Regional 44 CBA 41 | Boys | Buc Holiday Classic Semifinal

(5) Red Bank Regional advances to the Buc Holiday Classic Final with a 44-41 upset victory over (1) Christian Brothers Academy. CBA led 25-13 at halftime, a third quarter surge from the Bucs allowed them to tie the game and eventually take the lead in the fourth quarter thanks to key plays from seniors Nick Valentino and Brayden Kirkpatrick. RBR advances to take on (3) St. Rose in the Championship on 12/30.

St. Rose 58 Notre Dame 37 | Boys | Buc Classic Semifinal

Junior Matt Hodge sparked the Purple Roses from opening whistle and pumped in a season-high 23 points in a victory over the Fighting Irish. Hodge scored 15 points in the first quarter, highlighted by a monster windmill dunk, and St. Rose (6-0) would never look back from there. Army commit Stesher Mathelier also scored 23 points for Notre Dame (5-1) in the loss. St. Rose will face Red Bank Regional in the Buc Classic final on Friday evening.

Bishop Eustace 63 Pemberton 44 | Boys | Boardwalk Basketball Classic

The Crusaders pulled away from the Hornets down the stretch to win the Bill Osborn bracket championship in Wildwood. Sophomore Tom Semiraglio exploded for a game-high 26 points, while James Iannelli added 19 points in the win for Eustace (5-0). Adrian Lemmons scored a team-high 15 points for Pemberton (6-1) in the loss.

St. Joseph Academy 75 Ocean City 74 (3OT) | Boys | Boardwalk Basketball Classic

Shamar Cox banked in a three-pointer at the buzzer to force overtime, before the Wildcats outlasted the Red Raiders in a marathon game in Wildwood. Cox finished the game with 17 points. Arnaldo Rodriguez scored a team-high 25 points for St. Joe (3-4), while Devon Theophile had 21 points and grabbed 23 rebounds. Omero Chevere scored a game-high 32 points in the loss for OC (3-3), which was playing without two injured starters.

Manasquan 76 Brick Memorial 42 | Boys | WOBM Christmas Classic | Ruhnke Semifinal

Darius Adams had a career-high 27 points to lead a dominant effort and a spot in the WOBM Ruhnke finals and a matchup against #7 seed Toms River East.

Toms River East 58 Marlboro 53 | Boys | WOBM Christmas Classic | Ruhnke Semifinal

Dylan Russell had a monster 20-point, 18-rebound effort to give the #7 seed a spot in the Ruhnke bracket championship game against top seed Manasquan.  Marlboro took an 18-12 lead after one and held a one-point lead at the half before TRE took over in the third.  Jacob Mathus had 13 and Steve Scorsone added 11 for the Raiders.

Jackson Memorial 59 Red Bank Catholic 48 | Boys | WOBM Christmas Classic | Gepp Semifinal

The Jaguars continue their run in the WOBM Classic Gepp Bracket, as they down the Casey’s to reach the final. Keith Adame lead Jackson with 21 points, 12 of which came from beyond the arc. Samir Padilla kept pace with 16 points and Respect Tyleek set up good looks for everyone as he had seven assists in the win. Tyler Burnham had 24 points in the loss for RBC.

Ewing 63 Red Bank Regional 21 | Girls | WOBM Christmas Classic | Snyder Semifinal

The top-seeded Blue Devils remain unbeaten to start the season by shutting down the Bucs to reach the WOBM Christmas Classic, Snyder Bracket final. Rhian Stokes racked up a game-high 28 points, while adding ten rebounds and ten steals to finish with a triple-double in the win. Te’Yala Delfosse (15 points and ten rebounds) and Joi Johnson (11 points and 12 rebounds) each had a double-double for Ewing (6-0). Josie Munson scored a team-high 14 points in the loss for RBR (4-2).
