Nick Losada’s 17-point effort was a bright spot for Gill St. Bernard’s (3-1) in the loss.

Montclair Immaculate 58 IHA 48 | Girls | Hoopfest Holiday Showcase

Tyonna Bailey scored 17 of her 20 points in the first half as the Lions held off a third-quarter onslaught from IHA to hang on to move to 6-0 on the season and handing the Blue Eagles (5-1) their first loss of the year.  Bailey sizzled in the second to give Montclair Immaculate a 36-19 halftime lead.  But IHA would close the gap to four after a huge third quarter paced by Isabella Asencio (17 points) and Julia Schutz (18 points).  But Bailey was able to switch to a passing mentality and found open teammates in the fourth to pull away for the win.
