We’ve got a milestone moment from the Shore Conference boys soccer tournament and three girls games as county tournament play heats up.  Check out all our highlights throughout the night!

Colts Neck 7 Freehold Boro 2 | Boys | Shore Conference Tournament 1st Round

Sean Moore had a natural hat trick in the first half to reach 100 career goals, the first player in Shore Conference boys soccer history to reach the milestone as the Cougars cruised past the Colonials to move on to the Round of 16 and a matchup with 5th seed Jackson Township on Friday.  Moore missed a penalty kick with the match tied 1-1 but then rolled off three straight goals to give him 20 for the season.  Braedon Reilly had a pair of goals and Pedro Navroski had a goal and three assists.

Randolph vs. Roxbury | Girls | Morris County Tournament Quarterfinal

No. 14 Randolph girls soccer (9-1-2) avenged their first loss of the year last week to Roxbury (6-4-1) by defeating the Gaels 2-1 in Wednesday’s Morris County Tournament quarterfinals. Delaney Opper put the goals in front in just the 5th minute off a long-range free kick, but the Rams’ Carly Renna scored on a penalty kick in the 36th minute to tie it up before half. The game-winner came in the 63rd minute when Lia Perez scored her first goal of the season off a Renna corner kick. Randolph’s defense was stellar all game, with Opper’s goal being the only shot on goal for the Gaels.

The top-seed Rams now face 5-seed West Morris Central in Saturday’s county semifinals.

Pennington 2 Blair Academy 0 | Girls | Prep A Quarterfinal

Pennington (6-2) has captured the Prep A title in each of the last four years, and the Red Hawks moved one step closer to a five-peat with a quarterfinal win over Blair Academy (2-6-1). Colgate commit Lidia Gilch opened the scoring with a penalty kick in the 51st minute, and Olivia Wang added a beauty to seal the 2-0 victory. Pennington will host either Kent Place or Lawrenceville in the semifinals in two weeks.

The Eagles rattled off five goals in the first half as they rolled past the Villagers to stay perfect and pick up their 27th consecutive win against Cape-Atlantic League competition. South Carolina commit Jackie Brownlee recorded her eighth hat trick of the season in the victory. Payton Crowell, Dai Lanni Black, and Gabby Burbach added goals for Egg Harbor Township (14-0), which will likely be the top-seed in the Cape-Atlantic League Tournament.
