Gill St. Bernard’s 3 Montclair Kimberley 0 | Boys | Prep B State Championship
After watching the Cougars win in overtime in last season’s Prep “B” final, the Knights flipped the script and got their long-waited revenge. Nick Collins, Max Voigt and Danny Spataro led a first-half scoring barrage to power Gill St. Bernard’s (13-6) to a championship win over MKA (10-7-1). Mike Dumiec made four saves in net to preserve the win in the second half.

Washington Twp. 3 Lenape 1 | Girls | Group 4 South 1st Round
Drexel commit Jess Castorina scored two goals in the final 30 minutes to send the Minutemaids to the Group 4 South quarterfinals. Alaina LaMonica scored a goal in the first half for Township (8-7-1). Freshman Emma Moon scored the lone goal for the Indians (5-7-3) in the loss.

Middletown South 6 West Windsor-Plainsboro North 2 | Girls | Group 3 Central 1st Round
Freshman Bea Tinoco had three goals and two assists to pace the Eagles to a 5-0 lead on the way to a first-round win in the Central Jersey Group 3 state playoffs. Abby Doherty opened the scoring followed by back-to-back goals from Tinoco. Camryn Szotak made it 4-0 before Tinoco scored her third of the game with just :05 seconds left in the half. Lauren Cerveis scored in the second half to close out the scoring for the Eagles. WWPN got goals from Aditi Singh and Ginny Choi in the second half. Middletown South will face crosstown rival Middletown North in the second round of the state playoffs.
