Notre Dame 2 Hopewell Valley 1 OT | Boys
In one of the craziest endings our cameras have captured, Notre Dame defeated Hopewell Valley 2-1 to remain undefeated on the year at 5-0. The Irish trailing by a score since the twelfth minute tied the game with just seventeen seconds remaining on a goal from James Watson. In overtime Kyle Allen sealed the game with a golden goal. Hunterdon Central 3 Montgomery 0 | Girls
After their 21-game win streak came to a halt Monday, Hunterdon Central found themselves back on the winning side of things with a 3-0 shutout win over fellow Skyland Conference team, Montgomery. Gatorade National Player of the Year Emily Mason had the game’s first goal and sophomore Reagan Schubach tallied a pair of her own in the win.

Freehold Twp 3 Long Branch 0 | Boys
The Patriots got back on the winning track after dropping three games in a row. Round two between the Monmouth County opponents ended in a strong win for Freehold Twp. Josh Hocheiser scored in the 32nd minute off an own goal by the Green Wave. Zach Orrico netted a goal on a PK in the second half and the scoring was finished with a goal from Tim Bertscha late in the game.
